Postponement of the 4th Annual OGT Houston Shoot to Saturday, June 25, 2016

by allison

Dear OGT Supporters,

Once again, we have been forced by rain and flooding to reschedule our Houston Shoot.

We have rescheduled for Saturday, June 25, at the same venue, Texas Premier Sporting Arms-Promatic Training Center, in Sealy, Texas.

Unfortunately, the widespread flooding in the Houston region is causing much hardship for the people in the region.  It is also demanding the attention of many law enforcement agencies, including the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and its Game Wardens.  For at least the near future, dozens of wardens will be assisting flood victims along the rivers and bayous around Houston.  Please keep the flood victims and the wardens, highway patrolmen, sheriff and constable personnel, and other first responders in your thoughts and prayers.

The format of the shoot will be the same: Registration at 7:30, Shoot at 9, followed by

our Fish Fry prepared by the Game Wardens, lots of trophies for the winners, and a terrific Live Auction and Raffles.

If you WILL be able to attend on the new date, you need to do nothing.  We will look forward to seeing you on the 25th.

If you WILL NOT be able to attend on June 25or if you need to change your team roster, please call or email Lori Brock at 512 389 4381 or [email protected].

We will be happy to refund your contribution for your team registration if you desire.

If you have reserved a golf cart for the shoot, please contact Rebecca Christopher at the TPSA-PTC if you need to cancel.  If you do NOT need to cancel, your reservation will move to the new event date of June 25. All credit cards will be run 48 hours before the event.  Rebecca’s phone number is 713 826 1981 and she can be reached at [email protected].

Any other questions should be directed to either Lori Brock or to Lewis Rather, OGT Coordinator, at 512 565 3963 or at [email protected].

We regret this inconvenience, but we appreciate your support of Operation Game Thief and hope to see you on Saturday, June 25, which we trust will be a beautiful, sunny, but cool, day.
