Our
Story
Operation Game Thief is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose goal is to help end Texas wild poaching.
Established in 1981 as a result of laws passed by the 67th Legislature to help curtail poaching, OGT operates as a highly successful function of the law enforcement division of Texas Parks and Wildlife.
Privately funded, the program is dependent on financial support from the public through the participation of our fundraising events, memberships, merchandise, donations, sponsorships, and gifts.
As a 501©(3) nonprofit, our success depends on the support of the public and participants at our fundraising events. We strive to see that our events are management prudently and that costs are kept to a minimum. We hope to see you and your family and friends at one or more of our events soon.
